The members of Dungannon Rugby Club lost a great friend with the sad passing Dr Lynn Hobson. Lynn or ‘The Doc’ as he was affectionately known was a very popular president at Stevenson Park during the 2003/4 season. He played for the club in the 1970s and 80s and followed his father as Club Doctor. He also assisted with the medical rota for the Irish Rugby Football Union (Ulster Branch). Lynn was proud of his association with the Club and was always ready to lend a helping hand whether in Committee or on the playing field. He was purposeful and business like when the situation demanded but he will be best remembered for his friendship and his great sense of humour.
He will be sadly missed at Stevenson Park.
We extend our deepest sympathy to his wife Jennifer, sister Carole, brother Evan and the entire family circle.
